We offer a wide range of no-contract memberships which
can be purchased online via the online shop, or in person
at the Sports Centre.
University Gym
The gym includes a selection of cardiovascular machines, resistance equipment, a range of free weights: racks, lifting platforms, and stretching area.
The gym is joined to a large studio space, which members can utilise as an additional workout space, or by joining a class.
Gym Induction
New to the gym or unsure how to use the gym equipment? Ask for Gym Induction, where our friendly Fitness Instructors can demonstrate the purpose of the gym equipment and how to use it both correctly and safely.

Salary deduction membership is available to employees who are paid by the University of Lincoln. If you pay via salary deduction, the annual or monthly payment is taken from your salary after tax and national insurance.
Please note, when you pay via salary monthly deduction you may cancel the membership at any time with one full calendar months’ notice.
Annual memberships are paid in full. Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.

Swimming
Annual Swim available to Staff and Students for only £125.00.
We have partnered with Yarborough Leisure Centre ‘Active Nation’ to offer swim memberships. Yarborough Leisure Centre, run by Active Nation, boasts a 25m swimming pool, steam room and sauna for a leisurely splash around or more serious swimming.
Our swim only memberships will give you full access to their swimming pool for 12 months. This partnership provides an opportunity for University of Lincoln staff and students to access this fantastic facility at a discounted rate.
BUCS Universal Gym Membership
University of Lincoln is pleased to partner with British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) on the UNIversal Gym Card scheme.
This programme allows University of Lincoln student and staff fitness members to access fitness facilities at several different university venues across the UK, completely free-of-charge. Ideal for during university holidays when you return home or even visiting a friend, it’s the perfect way to keep up your routine even when you’re out of town.

- Create an account through the BUCS website- https://www.bucs.org.uk/login.html
- Login to your BUCS account.
- Click ‘Get Involved’ then, ‘Universal Gym’.
- Find the University of Lincoln UNIversal Gym using the search bar.
- Click ‘Join’ and continue to log onto a gym session.
- When you arrive at the Sports Centre, please be prepared to show your BUCS Universal account to prove your identity. If you haven’t attended our gym before, you will also need to complete a HCS form which a member of our team will provide.
